"June
and John Leonard have created a retreat of great charm and style in
the countryside. It was such a treat to find a generously sized room
and to have guest quarters in a separate house from the hosts' home.
Here, you have true luxury--the owners' imagination and hard work
have gone into making guests immensely comfortable. We were so glad
to have good reading lights on each side of the bed, for example,
something far too many places fail to provide. And there are a
number of graceful spaces indoors and out to read or talk. Breakfast
is with other guests around a table. This may not be for everyone,
but we found it much more fun (and so did everyone else) than
sitting at little tables trying to be quiet so as not to disturb
others. There was lots of laughter and trading of information. Many
thanks to two people who really love what they do, which shows in
every detail of this lovely place."
