We're excited and delighted to announce our updated and redesigned website. To improve results for traveler and innkeeper alike, our tech department has enhanced individual property listings, added hundreds of maps, expanded search function capability, and boosted download speeds. We invite you to test-drive the site to plan a trip of your own, so you'll experience all the user-friendly features we've added.

Individual listings: In addition to extensive descriptive information about each property, each listing has enhanced photo displays with quick-loading thumbnail pictures. If you have not done so recently, this is an excellent time to take another look at your own listing. Is the information accurate, complete, and up-to-date? Are you displaying all the photos you're permitted at your listing level? Remember, we can pull photos right off your own website. Do the pictures do your inn justice, or is it time to re-shoot them? Don't forget to add descriptions, so folks know what they're seeing. (Bronze members: Upgrade today to add photos and a link to your home page. Remember, it's risk-free.)

Search functions: Because both travelers and innkeepers have varied needs and priorities, the BedandBreakfast.com database can be searched in a variety of ways:

• Map search: Each state in the U.S. has a map, divided by region, and in some cases, sub-region. Beneath each map is a list of cities where B&Bs are located. Once you've arrived at a city page, you can search further from a list of nearby towns, either by name or by distance in miles. (The maps are still a work in progress, so please bear with us.)
• Quick Search: Find a destination by city, region, state or province. Whether you're looking for a B&B in the San Juan Islands of Washington, California Wine Country, or Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Quick Search will help. Quick Search will soon locate B&Bs near national parks and other major attractions. Quick search is the old "city search" on steroids!
• Proximity search: This amazing mapping tool allows searches by street, city, state or zip code, enabling travelers to find the find the ten closest B&Bs to Grandma's house or a business meeting.
• Online bookings: Travelers can search for properties that offer real-time, confirmed reservations, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you can book rooms while you sleep. More info
• Quick lists: Inngoers can search for B&Bs that suit their personal needs, whether they are business travelers, families, groups, smokers, vegetarians, or have pets. Budget travelers can check for B&Bs with rooms under $100, big spenders can find rooms over $200.
• Recipe search: Guests will start here if they want to have a B&B breakfast at home, so be sure to post your favorite recipes and drive more traffic to your listing/site.
• Special deals: Post time-sensitive special offers and packages to direct many more potential guests to your listing. (Available only to Silver members and above)
• BedandBreakfast.com Gift Certificates: Potential guests will be searching for properties where they can redeem their gift certificates. Why be left out? There is no additional up-front cost to participate, and we only get paid when you get a reservation! Gift Certificate search.
• Virtual Tours: Search the list of B&Bs with 360-degree IPIX photo tours in their BedandBreakfast.com listing. We may be able to schedule a photo shoot in your area, but require a minimum commitment from 20 inns.
• Associations: A comprehensive list of state, national, and international B&B associations.
• Amenity search: Looking for an inn with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs? Here's the place to look on a state-by-state basis. (Gold & Platinum members only).
