On July 15, 2004, the BedandBreakfast.com Gift Certificate program was re-launched with several major improvements, designed to enhance new customer acquisition and increase reservations for participating properties.

Instant purchase means more reservations: More sales will result from the fact that consumers can print their own certificates, ideal for last-minute buyers, procrastinators, and anyone who doesn't remember key occasions until the last second. Click here to see a sample of the new "print-your-own" certificates. In a few weeks, we'll be adding other photo options, so travelers can select a photo with holiday, romance, and wedding themes.
Wider distribution means more reservations: BedandBreakfast.com Gift Certificates will also be sold online by major gift certificate sites, introducing the pleasures of B&B travel to a whole new market. Details on these other programs will be available soon.
Direct deposit puts your money in the bank in four days: Certificate redemptions can now be made online, so we can deposit the funds directly into your bank account within four business days. No more certificates to mail! This online redemption process will affect both old-style and new certificates. So that we can provide this "direct deposit" function, please log in to your home base, accept the new terms and conditions, and give us your bank routing number.
Free participation: As always, it costs nothing to participate in this program unless it brings you reservations! Although BedandBreakfast.com retains a 15 percent commission on redeemed certificates, your actual cost will probably be about half that, since these first-time guests often have certificates that cover just half the cost of their stay. Of course, there's no commission cost on the repeat and referral business you'll get directly from these new customers.
