You were asked: What is the funniest moment you've ever shared with a guest?

“One couple was here for the weekend celebrating a special occasion; they were delightful. In the morning, the gentleman, a big burly guy who looked like Mister Clean, came downstairs to get coffee and chat for a bit.

“He thanked me profusely for the wonderful gesture. I couldn't think of what I had done. He told me he took his shower and got ready for bed, and when he turned the covers down to the bed, he found the sheet covered with rose petals. It just made his day.

“I thanked him and told him it was his partner he should be thanking. I still smile every time I think of him.

“Another couple stayed in the master suite. When they checked in, I noticed the man looked like someone right out of the Old West. Big, beard, cowboy boots...soft spoken. He was an early riser and was in my kitchen the next morning drinking coffee and talking about family. He said to me, ‘Promise me you won't tell anyone, especially my wife.’ I'm thinking, ‘Oh dear,’ but being of curious nature, I promised. He told me he loved the linens on the master suite bed; he said he rolled over and the lace from the sheets felt just wonderful on his face. I couldn't help myself but laughed and laughed.

“When a regular guest came back and stayed for a few days, I was calling him Jeff and introducing him to everyone as Jeff. When it was time for him to check out and he gave me his credit card, I read his name and it was Justin. I burst out laughing and apologized and everyone starting laughing. My husband and other guests said that twice he tried to correct me but I didn't hear him. He thought it was very funny.
